Auburn Admissions Information

From Billy Fisher - our Auburn Admissions Counselor:

 Our admissions application will open on our website on August 15th. We are not part of the common application. A completed application file includes the following:
a.       Completed application on our website
b.       $50 application fee or application fee waiver
c.       Official ACT or SAT sent to us directly from the testing agency
d.       Official high school transcript from grades 9 – 11

2.       We will release admissions decisions in two rounds:
a.       Late fall (probably around the 1st of December)
b.       Early spring (probably in the month of February)

3.       Once students are accepted for admission, they can do the following:
a.       Apply for scholarships through AUSOM (Auburn University Scholarship Opportunity Manager)
                                                                           i.      This is essentially a “one-stop-shop” scholarship application that allows students to apply for every scholarships they’re eligible for through Auburn based off all the information we have about them.
                                                                         ii.      The scholarship application deadline is December 15th
                                                                       iii.      Students have until May 1st of their senior year to accept their scholarship offers.
b.       Apply for on-campus housing
                                                                           i.      We do not require freshmen to live on campus. Only about 70% of freshmen live on campus at Auburn. However, housing is awarded on a first come, first serve basis
c.       Submit their enrollment deposit to reserve their seat in the freshman class
                                                                           i.      This is a $200 deposit, and the deadline for students to submit this deposit is May 1st of their senior year.
                                                                         ii.      If students have an application fee waiver when they apply for admission, they can have this deposit waived as well.

Additional Auburn Admissions Information

The Auburn University fall 2021 admissions application is open! Here are a few things you should know: Auburn University has joined the Common Application. Auburn University launches the Common Application on Monday, August 17. (The Auburn University freshman admissions application opened on our website August 15). Our process is flexible. Applicants will receive a holistic review and be evaluated with the either a test score or another supplemental component. If applicants have tested and feel the score will be a positive supplement to their application, they may submit it as their supplemental document.
