JSU Housing

At JSU, it is our goal to make students' residence halls their home away from home! First-Time Freshman students, outside of the 6 counties surrounding JSU, are required to live on campus during their first year. On campus living provides opportunities for campus involvement. We believe that learning does not end in the classroom but is enhanced by interacting with a diverse group of their peers. Living on campus allows this interaction to happen. Freshman students are required to either submit a housing application or a housing exemption form . The priority deadline to submit these forms is April 1 st . The housing application has a $200 non-refundable fee. Students may either select their roommate or be matched with a roommate using matching questions on the application. More information regarding housing options and requirements may be found here . Go Gamecocks! JSU Admissions
