Army National Guard College Visits

University Visits
 1. This is a memorandum to give information to the Montgomery Team Area of Operation school leadership and counselors regarding the guidance and expectation of college visits that the Alabama National Guard plans to execute this school year.

2. Our targeted students for the college visits are those with ACT scores of 17 or above and a High School CGPA of 3.0 or greater. All students should meet the requirements for acceptance to the university of planned visit. All students are limited to two universities of choice on this list. a. University of Alabama (January 23, 2020) b. Alabama A&M (February 30, 2020) c. Auburn University (February 20, 2020) d. UAB (February 27, 2020) e. Tuskegee University (March 5, 2020) f. USA (March 19, 2020) g. MMI (April 2, 2020)

3. Our time of departure will be 0800 from the Eastchase Store Front, Montgomery, AL 35209 and returning at 1700. We will provide a campus tour coordinated with the University Ambassador Team, lunch at a cafeteria on campus sponsored by the National Guard, and a SROTC briefing correlating the National Guard benefits with opportunities in the military and career progression.

 4. We will provide a by name list of students that attend the College Tour to the high school counselor for accountability and excuse for the day. 5. Additional Auburn Admissions Information

The Auburn University fall 2021 admissions application is open! Here are a few things you should know: Auburn University has joined the Common Application. Auburn University launches the Common Application on Monday, August 17. (The Auburn University freshman admissions application opened on our website August 15). Our process is flexible. Applicants will receive a holistic review and be evaluated with the either a test score or another supplemental component. If applicants have tested and feel the score will be a positive supplement to their application, they may submit it as their supplemental document. If applicants do not have ACT or SAT scores to send to Auburn University, their admissions application will not be penalized. Applicants will choose one supplemental document for review.
