Montevallo will now Superscore (effective immediately)

Good morning! We have some big news to share from the Admissions Office. Effective immediately, the University of Montevallo will be superscoring for not only scholarships but also admission. The conversation arose out of ACT’s recent announcement to begin section retesting starting in September 2020. There is some great data to support superscoring and the success rates (first year GPA) of students so UM is happy to be among the first in the state to make this decision. Our office will close at 5:00pm on Monday, December 16 for the holiday and will reopen on Thursday, January 2. We hope you have a wonderful Christmas break!

Auburn Admissions Updates

Students who have been accepted for admission can now apply for scholarships if they haven’t already done so. The deadline to do this is at  4:45 PM CST on December 15 th .  We also encourage students to complete the FAFSA by this time as well to make sure that no scholarship or financial aid opportunities slip through the cracks. However, this is not a requirement. ·           Students who have been accepted for admission can also now apply for on campus housing at Auburn. Incoming freshmen  are not  required to live on campus, but on campus housing is awarded on a first come, first serve basis. If you have students that are still on the fence about attending Auburn, but would like to reserve their housing spot, they are still more than welcome to submit the housing application. This will not lock them in to coming to Auburn next year, and they will still have until  May 1, 2020  to submit their enrollment ...
