Auburn Admission Updates & Free App Week

Good Morning!

I hope you’re all doing well, and that your 2020 is off to a great start! I just wanted to send out a quick reminder – the deadline for high school seniors to submit a freshman application to Auburn University for the Fall of 2020 is February 3, 2020. This is the deadline for students to have the following submitted:

- Completed admission application

- $50 application fee or application fee waiver

- Official ACT or SAT score(s) sent directly from the testing agency

- Official high school transcript

I also wanted to make you aware of Auburn’s Free Application Week that will be taking place next week from January 13^th through January 17^th. During this time, Alabama residents can apply at auburn.edu/apply and use the code Tigers2020 to waive their application fee. If you have students who have not yet submitted their application fees or fee waivers, this is an excellent opportunity for them to apply!

I have emailed students with incomplete application files to remind them to submit everything before the deadline. However, it always helps when you remind them as well!

Additional Auburn Admissions Information

The Auburn University fall 2021 admissions application is open! Here are a few things you should know: Auburn University has joined the Common Application. Auburn University launches the Common Application on Monday, August 17. (The Auburn University freshman admissions application opened on our website August 15). Our process is flexible. Applicants will receive a holistic review and be evaluated with the either a test score or another supplemental component. If applicants have tested and feel the score will be a positive supplement to their application, they may submit it as their supplemental document.
