Jeff State Extensions for Academic Scholarships and Dual Enrollment

We hope you are well as we navigate the challenges and unchartered territory brought on by this national pandemic. Jefferson State is concerned about the health and well-being of every student, teacher, counselor, and principal in our community. During these unprecedented times, we understand students and families are experiencing hardships in many ways. The financial impact for many will be overwhelming and may persist for an extended period.
As your partner, Jefferson State is here to support you in two significant areas. The college has extended the deadline for academic scholarships to June 1, 2020. We are delighted to have your students who meet the minimum criteria apply. Your students may apply online at www.jeffersonstate.edu/financial-aid/scholarships. The deadline for the Counselor’s Scholarship is July 1, 2020. To further assist you, we are extending the Dual Enrollment deadline for fall 2020 to June 1, 2020. We will continue to provide information and updates regarding enrollment and registration for fall. Our summer registration has begun and we can assist your students who are interested in attending the upcoming term.
By removing financial and date sensitive barriers, we endeavor to make education and career goals easier to obtain for your students. This is also an opportunity to express our appreciation for your continued loyalty to the college’s programs. Your support is extremely valued as we look forward to reinforcing our partnership with you.
We wish you the very best as you move forward to end the current year while preparing for the upcoming 2020 academic year. We will get through this together!
Warmest regards,
