UA Early College Info and Deadlines and Summer on Campus

Students/Parents: If you are interested in your child taking dual enrollment classes at UA next year (or this summer) please let me know! Who's eligible? 

High school sophomores, juniors, and seniors with a 3.0+ GPA.

Seniors can still participate in UAEC
the summer after high school graduation!

1. Online Application
2. High School Transcript
3. Student Essay
Students who are currently in the 9th grade are eligible to apply for a June deadline and begin the College Readiness Course this summer! 

Need to Know and Important Dates:

Students must apply and be admitted to UA Early College, as well as successfully pass the UAEC 200: College Readiness Course, in order to apply for Summer On Campus.
 
The Summer On Campus application opened February 1, 2020, and includes the application and reference information.
At The University of Alabama, the summer semester is split into two terms (Summer I and Summer II), each four weeks long: 

Summer I Term - May 26 to June 27, 2020

  • Apply to UA Early College by the April 8 deadline
  • Students who have been accepted to UA Early College can apply to Summer On Campus by May 11 (available in Early College Student Resources [ECSR], once the UAEC 200 class is complete) 

Summer II Term - June 29 to August 1, 2020

  • Apply to UA Early College by the April 27 deadline 
  • Apply to Summer On Campus by June 15 (available in Early College Student Resources [ECSR], once the UAEC 200 class is complete)

Additional Auburn Admissions Information

The Auburn University fall 2021 admissions application is open! Here are a few things you should know: Auburn University has joined the Common Application. Auburn University launches the Common Application on Monday, August 17. (The Auburn University freshman admissions application opened on our website August 15). Our process is flexible. Applicants will receive a holistic review and be evaluated with the either a test score or another supplemental component. If applicants have tested and feel the score will be a positive supplement to their application, they may submit it as their supplemental document.
